By requesting locksmith services from San Jose Locksmith, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern all residential, commercial, and automotive locksmith services provided by San Jose Locksmith (License LCO 6739) at 1585 N 4th St, B2, San Jose, CA 95112.
San Jose Locksmith provides residential locksmith services (lockouts, rekeying, lock installation, smart lock setup, key duplication), commercial locksmith services (access control, panic bar hardware, master key systems, business lockouts), and automotive locksmith services (car lockouts, transponder key programming, ignition repair, key cutting).
We provide a price estimate over the phone and confirm the exact price on-site before beginning any work. The final invoice will match the on-site quote. There is no upfront service call fee in San Jose. Additional costs may apply for specialty hardware, after-hours situations, or non-standard lock configurations, and these will be disclosed before work begins.
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, major credit cards, and debit cards. We do not begin work without customer agreement to the quoted price.
Our workmanship is warranted for 90 days from the date of service. If a defect arises from our installation or rekeying within this period, we will correct it at no charge. This warranty does not cover hardware defects, customer misuse, or damage caused by third parties after our service is complete.
By requesting our services, you represent and warrant that you have lawful authority to access the property, vehicle, or premises for which you are requesting locksmith services. San Jose Locksmith reserves the right to require proof of identity and/or authorization before providing entry or lock modification services.
San Jose Locksmith's liability for any service or job shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We use non-destructive entry methods as a first approach, but entry may occasionally require drilling when the lock is seized, damaged, or otherwise non-responsive.
You may cancel a service request at any time before the technician arrives. If the technician has already been dispatched and is en route, a small trip charge may apply. We will notify you of this before confirming dispatch.
We may photograph hardware conditions before and after service for our internal records and quality control purposes. Photos are not shared publicly without customer consent.
Any dispute arising from our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved in Santa Clara County courts. We encourage you to contact us directly at (408) 614-7772 or sanjoselocksmithteam@gmail.com before filing any formal claim.
